The art of science
Psychology is the first science subject I've done since Year 12 chemistry. I'm digging it; even the boring bits are interesting. We're doing visual perception at the moment. Just crammed the eye for a tute quiz (due in one hour, hah). It's so vigorous and reassuring, all this comprehension and memorising business, compared to the airy fairy critical thinking crap in the humanities. Right and wrong answers. Physical phenomena. Evidence. It feels like learning, you know? Actual information acquisition. Of course, I'll probably forget it all a day after the exam.# posted at 4:08 pm
