Alive
Darnation, didn't get to try out my self-defence skills after all.Meanwhile, the hate list:
-Medicine applications. Why the frick do I bother? It's masochistic. Just did the UWA one. Sigh.
-Driving. Going for my P's again in October. I hate driving, the headlights in my eyes, the feeling that the only thing separating me from the tons of metal hurtling towards me is AN IMAGINARY LINE PAINTED ON THE ROAD, the multiple lapses of my own concentration. Too much proximity to my own mortality, thank you very much.
-Law tutor. Every lesson, he says "we have a lot to get through today". Every lesson, he gets distracted with his little rants. Today it was the politicisation of the criminal law making it all incoherent, leafblowers, playground vandals, neighbourly disputes about dog shit. HELLO, we have ONE SEMESTER to cram the ENTIRE CRIMINAL LAW, get on with it please! Don't get me wrong, he's a smart and interesting bloke. Just not that good a teacher. I miss Luke with his weekly handouts and OHPs and spiral method!
