You must try this sandwich
I was going to blog about The Time Traveler's Wife, which I picked up for $6 at the Central discount bookshop yesterday and devoured until the wee hours of the morning (I hardly savour books any more, since any "fun" reading is done guiltily and usually at the expense of my serious uni reading). In short, my opinion is: interesting premise (dude time travels involuntarily), some hilarious, some moving bits, but the author NEEDS A BETTER EDITOR (recounting a long billiards game does NOT WORK ON PAPER). And she's rather self-indulgent with the politics, philosophy and art references, not to mention the passages of poetry in other languages.But enough of that already! Here's something much blogworthier: I've discovered The Bestest Yummiest Deliciousest Sandwich EVER. Take one baguette, cut it in half, take out some of the insides, line one half with prosciutto and the other with rocket lettuce. Ok, now tear up some chicken breast and put it into a bowl, chop some capers and add to the chicken, and plop in some mayonnaise and stir. Then press this mixture into one of the baguette halves.
