Stopping traffic, part #2 (#3?)

The anti-VSU rally was on today. I'm not sure about the numbers- it seemed bigger than the others I've seen on campus, but it's been reported that the crowd was only about 4000-strong. It was good though, no violence, many amusing chants, some honks of support.

Some tips from this now veteran protester:
a) if you're going to be walking at midday in the blazing sun for an hour, remember to bring a water bottle especially if all the union shops at uni are going to be closed so you don't have to hike to goddamned Wentworth to buy non-union drinks
b) bring a hat and sunscreen
c) however tempting that patch of shade is beneath that banner, don't stand under it
d) when you get your free sausage roll with sauce, don't let the sauce drip on your water bottle. If unavoidable, do NOT put said water bottle between your legs to free up your hands
e) tomato sauce stains can be washed out with a hand towel, hand soap and water, though be prepared to have dark stains in uncomfortable places for several minutes
f) it is totally worth it to miss 15 minutes of Contracts to see Wil Anderson, trust me
