Dra å helvete, dumjävel!
Remember how there is a Hot Swedish Chick in my Spanish class? The other week, I was chatting with her and asking stupid questions such as "does everyone in Sweden speak English?". In the course of the conversation I learnt that the maximum tax bracket in Sweden is 80%ish, health care is free after you spend $90, and most importantly, "fan" ("fun") means fuck. Naturally I couldn't get enough of that, so made her promise to write out a swear dictionary for me. Lo and behold, she actually did. Voila, verbatim:fan = fuck
skit = shit
jävla = fucking (as in fucking shit, not literal)
fan = damn
helvete = hell
bitch = bitch
hora = whore
jävla = bloody
dumjävel = stupid fucker
dra åt helvete = go to hell
So I'm well-prepared should I ever go to Sweden.
Non sequitur of the day: I just discovered the pleasures of dancing in one's underwear in one's bedroom. I've always had hangups about dancing since I'm an unco, despite the childhood tap/jazz classes (don't ask). But I got around that by turning off the lights and closing my eyes. How come no one told me about this before? It's so liberating. I had to use Chris' music though since my own is all this melancholic asexual jazz/folk crap.
Speaking of sex (smooth segue, huh), I have a theory that the tango is fucking with your clothes on, what with all that dipping and passionate gazes and kicking between your partner's legs. I want to learn it.
