A feast for the ears

You ask, I deliver. Probably not all your type of music, Chris, but I provide these for the listening pleasure of my entire adoring readership.

These linkies aren't directly to mp3's cos I'm too lazy and there are too many.

#1: Elgar's Cello concerto in E min, Op 85 - Jacqueline du Pré.
I'm not much of a classical music fan, but the cello is just the beautifulest instrument ever made. Ever ever.

#2: Various - Noise for Pretend.
Jazzpoppy goodness.

#3: Various live - Jack Johnson.
Finally, a biggish-name star without a Flash homepage and shitty Realplayer formatted files. Some more Jack Johnson at the Live Music Archive.

#4: Various - Juana Molina.
If Norah Jones were Latina.

#5: Various - Kaitlyn Ni Donovan.
Kinda indie jazz vocals.

#6: I take on your days (album) - Corrina Repp.
Folky indie vocals.

As you can see, I've been raiding Hush Records' site. They're very generous with mp3s, bless 'em.

I'm going to see Elixir. ie. half-george, at Vanguard this Friday. Can't hardly wait!
