Blog as catharsis
Talk about a change in tone. Sorry about the dramatics. It's been a long, stress-filled week. Though it's taken a turn for the better, seeing that the tests have confirmed that it's not actually the C-word.Because of the scare, I've been getting to see my family more. I went out with my 6-year old cousin for the first time, a great kid despite still being in the poo/wee-obsession phase. I met my newest cousin for the first time. There is yet another that I haven't met, although we live about twenty minutes from each other. The result of grudges and bridge-burning and feuds. It's heartening to find in times of crisis, my bickering family can pull together.
