Switch bitch
I'm thinking about getting a notebook for school. My research has lead me to an uncomfortable conclusion...I might have to go Mac.
Everyone I've told about this has reacted with scorn, horror or condescension. Despite all the product placement and funky ads, Apple still hasn't caught the hearts and minds of the Youth of TodayTM (except with those iPods- mmm, covet.)
I'm looking for a puter that's small and light, has a good battery life, and has a combo drive. Under $2000 and with Wifi capability preferably. No muscle needed, just enough to run Winamp, Word, some form of browser and Kazaa simultaneously. The 12" iBook satisfies these criteria pretty well. But then there's the lack of right-click. The annoying Finder- I want a Windows Explorer type whatsit. I want a start bar with windows that minimise into little tab things, not long skinny bars that don't sit properly.
Gimme a Mac that runs Windows.
