The sound of silence
My post yesterday seems not to have been published. A good thing, since it was World Aids Day and I totally forgot, posting my usual flippant rubbish. Here's what I would've posted, had I remembered: Living in the Bonus Round, the first blog I ever read, even before I knew what blogs were. It's by Steven Schalchlin, who writes about his experiences living with AIDS and creating his off-Broadway musical "The Last Session". Check out some of the song clips.I'm leaving for Vanuatu tomorrow afternoon and won't be posting for a week or so. It'll be good to get away from civilisation for a while. These past few months I've been orbiting from screen to screen - TV, computer, movie - and it's time to smell the non-CGI, non-jpeg roses! Ata.*
