The aftermath
Went for a final lunch with my friends today, at a Pho Dzung in Richmond. We had a few, ahem, 'adventures' getting there and back. On the way there, I lead my three friends onto the wrong tram. Well, right number tram, but wrong direction. On the way back, my friends Naf made us get on the wrong numbered tram and ended up halfway to Balwyn or something before we realised. I think I relinquish my right to call myself a Melbournian already. Fair enough, since I'm going to Sydney tomorrow and will most probably be moving there for uni.Lunch was yummy except that one of us had a fly in her soup. Never thought that actually happened in real life. Although we'd agreed not to talk about results, it seems like everyone did very well. Grace and Rach got the top possible score. They were the only ones in the whole school, and there are only 18 in all of Victoria. The lowest score among us that I'm sure of is ~96, with the majority getting 99 and above. My friends are a smart bunch! mmm, networking. Typical Asians that we are, most of us are headed for the health sciences/med, law, or business. Ho hum.
My dad's promising me a reward for my results. I'm tossing up between an iPod/clone or digicam. I think I'll wait til the iPod killers get a bit cheaper...I've got my eye on the iRiver which can record voice and has a cool LCD remote, but it's the same price as an iPod, and doesn't look nearly as cool. Damned sexy Macs and their bloody effective Silhouette ads! Bah and bah.
