Matrix
So I don't watch for one match and you have to LOSE on me, Wallabies? Sigh.I was out with my dad last night, watching Matrix Revolutions. Here's the breakdown. NB. Possible spoilers!
Good:
-Fight scenes rock and don't seem so gratuitous, unlike in Reloaded (Burly Brawl, anyone? "Oh oops, I forgot I could just fly away from this pack of dudes trying to kill me")
-Slo-mo rain. Cool as.
-Ditto giant water shock wave thingies. Très spiffy.
-Less yakkity-yak, more fighty-fighty. Me like.
-"What's it gonna be, Merv?" heh.
Bad:
-**** takes a BLOODY LONG TIME to cark it. Die already!
-The Kid gets more screen time than Morpheus.
-Morpheus and Naiobe try to work up some sexual tension. And fail.
-Deus ex Machina: lame.
-It's not a good sign when the first words out of your mouth when leaving the theater are: "WTF was that?" I need things s.p.e.l.t o.u.t!
Ugly:
-Keanu. That is all.
The verdict: 3.5 babylons. Better than Reloaded, but not worth missing the rugby.
