415 mots ÷ 2 heures = mal à la tête 

Comment apprenez-vous le vocab pour les langues étrangères? Voici ma méthode. D'abord, je crée une table de 3 colonnes dans Word ou Excel, intitulées: [langue A], [langue B], et Test. Puis je mets tous les mots en chaque langue dans sa colonne corréspondante. Ensuite, je lis les mots de la langue cible à haute voix. Pour apprendre les termes difficiles, j'imagine une image eg. pour "briser les carcans" j'imagine une danseur de cancan en train de s'enfuir des flics. C'est bête mais ça marche! Après avoir changé la couleur de la fonte de la colonne "Langue B" en blanche, j'écris les traductions dans la colonne "Test". Puis je rechange la couleur en noir et je corrige, soulignant les fautes en rouge dans la colonne "Langue A". Je me reteste jusqu'à ce qu'il ne reste plus de rouge- d'habitude ce n'est plus qu'une ou deux fois. Simple, non?
Ben je suis sûre que les méthodes comme le TPR marchent mieux, mais celle-ci, c'est bien pour le bachotage.

How do you learn vocab in foreign languages? Here's my method. First, I create a table with 3 columns in Word or Excel, called Language A, Language B and Test. Then I put all the words in each language under its corresponding column. After that, I read the words in the target language out loud. To learn difficult terms I imagine a picture eg. for "briser les carcans", I imagine a can-can dancer running away from cops…it's silly but it works! After changing the font colour in the "Lang B" column to white, I write the translations in the Test column. Then I change the font back to black and I correct, highlighting mistakes in red in the "Lang A" column. I retest myself until there isn't any red left- usually it takes only one or two goes. Simple, isn't it? Well I'm sure that other methods like TPR work better, but this works when you're cramming.


Why is there a giant gap there? I hate HTML. Bah and bah.
